Features

Voice of the Force – Tom Kane
The latest issue features an exclusive interview with Tom Kane, one of the top voice artists working today. The devoted Star Wars fan, with a seemingly endless stream of Star Wars roles behind him, talks about his craft and his career, and explains how chance played its part in landing the role of iconic Jedi Master Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars: “I would sit there looking through the script, and I would try to do my best Grand Moff Tarkin or Boba Fett or whoever. I was goofing around one day, and saw some Yoda lines, so of course I was trying to do my very best Yoda, and the producer looked up and said, Can you do that again?’”

Wicket’s World – Warwick Davis
Warwick Davis became a pivotal part of the Star Wars galaxy thanks to his part as Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. Then only 11-years-old and one of the youngest performers in the trilogy, Davis’ appearance in the final movie of the Star Wars saga was to mark the beginning of a long association with the franchise. Davis went on to play Wicket in two made-for-TV movies, and returned in Star Wars Episode I as Anakin’s pal. Wald. In the latest issue of Insider, Davis explains why Star Wars became “the best thing that ever happened to me.”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Episode Guide
“The Hidden Enemy” was just one of many highlights from the superb first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – who can forget Obi-Wan and Anakin waking up in a Florrum prison cell, tethered to the very villain they were supposed to be apprehending, Count Dooku? Complete with memorable characters, quotes, plot developments and inside information, find part two of Star Wars Insider’s indispensable guide to the television spectacular in the latest issue.
